PETZL ASTRO BOD FAST Climbing Harness / Bosun's Chair

The ASTRO BOD FAST harness is designed for increased efficiency and comfort while climbing ropes. With excellent support for added comfort when suspended. The wide waistbelt and leg loops ensure a stable and safe working position, contoured and lined with breathable foam padding for increased comfort. The bosun's chair features a comfortable neck section wiith widely spaced shoulder straps which help distribute the load over the shoulders when the waistbelt is loaded. The semi-rigid leg and waist straps can be adjusted in size and quickly opened or closed with self-locking buckles without changing the previously set size. This ensures not only the best possible hold, but also comfort over time. The ASTRO BOD FAST has six pre-shaped equipment loops to carry and organise work tools, with multiple gear loops and slots for attaching tool holders and tool pouches. Attachment points can be folded down to prevent them snagging accidentally when not in use. Sternal and dorsal attachment points can be conveniently used to attach a fall arrest system. Self-locking buckles are located on the waist, chest and back and on the side of the hip belt. The buckles can be used, depending on the circumstance, to improve freedom of movement or to position oneself at the workstation. Lanyards for progression and fall protection can be hooked directly to the centre pin without using a connector. A rope clamp for rope ascents is located between the neck section and the waist belt, which blocks in the event of a fall and thus prevents falling. The boatswain's chair is certified according to CE EN 361, CE EN 358, CE EN 813, CE EN 12841 type B, UKCA, EAC.
