Product details

Sea Line 1000 DC is a silicone-based, single-component sealing compound for deck planks. It provides a long-lasting elastic, highly extensible sealing compound for wooden decks. The caulking compound is UV and chemical resistant. Perfect for caulking teak decks, mahogany and oak decks, larch, pitch pine and pine decks, parquet and laminate flooring.

Technical data:
  • Working time: 30 - 45 min. @ +23 °C
  • Sand after: 60 hours @ +23° C
  • Thermal stability: -50° to +140°C
  • Curing: approx. 2 mm after 24 h
  • Shore hardness A: approx. 40
  • Elongation at break: 350 %

Important note
Teak care products, such as oil or brighteners, must not be applied for at least 12 months after SEA LINE 1000 DC has been applied.

Alternativlos
for all bar decks that have been filled with silicone-based joint compound ex shipyard. This is especially true for the Scandinavian boats. Even after 24 years, most of the joints on my boat are still in good condition. The joints can be partially renewed where the flanks have come loose. Wood is a natural product and is not of the same quality everywhere. Some teak sticks shrink very easily if the heat is constantly high, for example in the MM or Canary Islands. Then one side may come loose from the casting compound and it must be touched up. Sealine is excellent for this. Certainly also for a complete renovation. However, always on the condition that it had already been filled with silicone.
