The world's smallest emergency signal on the market! The rescueME PLB1 has a 30% smaller volume than comparable devices and fits into every life jacket easily. Safety via the push of a button: the PLB1 can be easily turned on with one hand. A spring flap prevents the emergency signal from being accidentally activated. Once the PLB1 is activated, it immediately sends your position and ID via satellite connection - prompt rescue is ensured. A very bright flashing light on the unit helps locate you, even during the night. The PLB1 is equipped with an extendable antenna and offers a 66 channel GPS receiver. Frequency: 121,5 MHz Regulating area: 400 Hz - 1300 Hz Dimensions: (HxWxD): 77 x 51 x 32,5 mm Weight: 116 g.

If you wish to register your PLB via its serial number, this must be done with the "Maritime & Coastguard Agency - Department for Transport". Please register with the authority directly. Further information can be found at https://www.gov.uk/register-406-beacons

Hello Shaun, used and registered as a PLB, you register it in UK with existing countrycode UK(232), using as a PLB( "EPIRB"), a reconfiguration to your mmsi is necessary to registrate at german authority.

Does it need to be registered with the German authorities under it's mmsi number, if it does what do I have to do? Or registration is the UK registration enough? It seems complicated for a new product, I have just bought of SVB.

I have just read your description of the item again, it should have been programmed before shipment. I should have filled in your paperwork and ordered you guys to program in the MMSi and boat data.
