Product details

Wireless wind display system with NASA Clipper display and NMEA0183 output. The included data box is mounted below deck and powered via the 12V on-board electrical system. Via a cable connection, the receiver can then pass on the wind direction and wind speed data to a NASA Clipper or another NMEA0183-compatible display.
The mast unit is supplied with electricity by a solar cell. Once fully loaded (after about 150 hours in bright sunlight), the battery pack will guarantee an operating time of up to 2000 hours or 15,000 hours in standby mode.
  • Wireless transmission of wind speed and direction
  • NMEA0183 data output (MWV), 4800 baud
  • Display on NASA Clipper instruments
  • Easy Installation: No cable is required inside of the mast
Comes with: Wireless mast unit, Data box, NASA Clipper display

Easy to install - the display must be installed vertically for good visibility, otherwise RAS not tested in NMEA

Hello Jan, Yes this were possible. Eg. with this converter https://www.svb24.com/en/yacht-devices-nmea2000-to-nmea0183-converter.html or other multiplexers. Important: Only prepare connection over the NMEA2000-network, not directly between devices

Flag of English When I connect everything according the instructions, I'm only getting two lines on the display. No reading. The transmitter and received don't seem to be communicating. The Transmitter has been under the sun for 12 hours now. Did anyone else experienced that issue ?

This means the display is not receiving the NMEA data from the receiver box. Is the RED led on the receiver box flashing? If not, it isn't communicating with the mast head unit.
