It is supplied complete with a precision 100 Amp shunt and a prefabricated cable assembly to enable simple installation. The unit continuously monitors voltage, current (charge or discharge), the battery‘s state of charge and the time to charge or discharge. This information leads to more efficient use of the battery, which can enhance the battery life and reduce the risk of failure.

Flag of English Can I extend the wiring? It’s 5 meters and need a few extra meter. If yes: witch size of cable and will it defect the monitor?

Hi Jesper, I would like to answer your question with "maybe" because I've never tried to prolong the harness but I imagine that it would be possible. There is only low current on the wires and for prolonging the harness I would take 1 or 1,5 mm² cable cross section. But first let's have a look on how shunt and display are working: Current flowing through the shunt creates a very small voltage drop there, which is proportional to the current height. This very small voltage is led via 2 wires to the display and there it is used for current measurement. If these two wires would be very long, there would be two risks. 1. A voltage drop but with 1 or 1,5 mm² wires that shouldn't be a problem. 2: Interference signals could be induced into the long measuring wires and lead to false display values. Some manufacturers minimize the risk of interfering signals by recommending the use of twisted pair wires. In the wiring diagram you will see at the shunt three: yellow, white and black. The black one is MINUS for the display, yellow and white are the two measuring wires. read the manual careful! There is a note which says: Black and white wires may only be combined at the battery-connection-side of the shunt and nowhere else. My advice: keep distance between the measuring wires and other cables or electrical stuff like powerful motors, pumps, etc.. I'm looking forward for your success report. Good Luck!
