In 1868 Carl Julius Herbertz founded his company in the city of Solingen. To this day, they produce custom-made knives for every occasion: from fishing knives (fish peelers or fillet knives) to rigging knives with marlinspike and survival knives with built-in compass. Blades from Solingen enjoy an excellent reputation. With a company history of nearly 150 years, C. Julius Herbertz GmbH is particularly experienced in the production and distribution of cutting tools. Today the business is in its fifth generation of family ownership.
