Combine your automatic life jacket with a fully automatic AIS emergency transmitter and increase the likelihood of being found and rescued quickly in an emergency. The SEATEC CLASSIC 165 life jacket will keep you afloat while the AIS easyOne DSC distress beacon automatically transmits AIS signals via message types 1 and 14. Message type 1 contains such information as current position, course or direction of drift, speed, date and time, whereas message type 14 indicates whether it is a true emergency or a simple test message. All vessels in the area that are equipped with an AIS receiver will receive the emergency information both through an audible alert and a text message directly to their chartplotters and can quickly come to the rescue.
Weatherdock's new powerful AIS MOB easyONE-DSC CL might look like its predecessor. However, an important interior feature, the DSC distress call to up to eight different vessels, has been added and thus significantly increases your safety on board.
Developed by expert engineers, the release mechanism, once in the water, independently releases the rod antenna and initiates an MOB (Man Over Board) emergency transmission. The system can also be initiated manually by the user. This emergency transmission can be received by all AIS receivers in a 7-8 mile radious and displayed on chartplotters, if available. (Range limitations are affected by weather conditions, sea states and height of the receiving antenna).

After automatic activation upon full water contact, a DSC distress call is transmitted within a few seconds. The call can be received by up to eight vessels whose MMSI numbers have been pre-programmed via Bluetooth and Weatherdock app. The first distress call occurs without GPS coordinates.
As soon as GPS coordinates are available, a second call with the victim's GPS coordinates is transmitted to the vessels via DSC. Transmission is repeated at an interval of five minutes for the next 30 minutes. Calls are subesequently transmitted at 10 minute intervals.

Due to its light weight and handy size (168 x 48 x 27 mm), the easyONE DSC can be integrated into any automatic lifejacket. Since the unit is completely waterproof (to 10 meters) and buoyant, it can additionally serve as a MOB buoy when used in combination with a life-saving collar / lifebelt. As a useful addition to your safety equipment, the easyONE DSC can be integrated into all standard life rafts during maintenance.

Whenever in use, the easyONE DSC must be firmly attached to any personal equipment (life jacket, life buoy) to prevent that the device and victim drift apart and to ensure that rescue forces can effectively locate the person.
The easyONE DSC transmits the AIS standard messages Msg.01 and Msg.14; the first format consists of the AIS position report - the device identification number, as well as course and speed over ground are displayed. Msg.14, like Msg.01, in transmit mode, is constantly updated and repeatedly transmitted, including a safety message, the device identification number, and the text messages "MOB Active" and "MOB test" which provides information on the device status.
The test mode can be activated by pressing a button and shows the function of the transmitter via a MOB Test icon on the plotter. The AIS MOB easyONE DSC is ready for immediate use and can be operated without further registration or personal identification.

The fully automatic lifejacket 165 CLASSIC by SEATEC fulfils the ISO 12402-3 standard and protects you even in the event of unconsciousness. A REAL lifesaver! The signal yellow PU buoyancy chamber inflates fully automatically (manual release possible) inside a robust protective cover. Featuring a sturdy belt system with integrated life-harness and fabric D-ring, onto which a lifeline can easily be attached. The fabric D ring helps keep the overall weight of the lifevest low.
Further equipment includes an emergency whistle, reflective tape on the buoyancy chamber and "UML MK5" trigger system with safety indicators.
