LE TONKINOIS MARINE N°1 boat varnish is a wood protection varnish, which both protects and beautifies wood at the same time. Suitable for all types of wood, in both indoor and outdoor applications. It can be used on: superstructures, masts, bathing platforms, teak decks, tillers, wooden furniture, flooring, doors and also for degreased metals.

An ideal yacht varnish, certified by the French Navy. Its oily and chemical-free components make this boat varnish durable, extremely abrasion-resistant, highly UV-resistant, salt-water resistant, hardwearing and resistant to household cleaners.

Yes, Le Tonkinois is 100% waterproof and is not affected by seawater, so it is suitable for use below the waterline.& for areas that are immersed in water all the time. For a seagoing vessel, I would recommend 6 – 8 coats
