Product details

Tank level sensor made of stainless steel (AISI316). A special feature of the unit is its direct connection to NMEA2000 networks via the attached Micro-C plug. Suitable for wastewater. Installation via an existing SAE5 hole. Available in different lengths.

  • Material: SS316 stainless steel
  • Standard SAE 5 hole pattern
  • Preset to black water (ID 05)
  • IP rating: IP67
  • Working voltage: 9 - 16 volts
  • Working temperature: -40°C to 85°C
  • Cable length: 460 mm
  • Measuring points on the sensor rods: every 21 mm
  • NBR seal

*Note
These tank sensors can also be used as grey water tank sensors. To do this, the sensors must be programmed by us with the corresponding ID.
  • ID 02 = Grey water
  • ID 05 = Black water (preset)

You can carry out the programming yourself using the KUS programming tool. (SVB no. 25039) .

Alternatively we can do the programming for you, for this we charge our programming fee.

Good encoder - but difficult to integrate into the Garmin system
The encoder makes a good and solid impression - first tests (with water as the medium) show a perfect function.
Unfortunately, the sensor on a Garmin GPSmap7412 is only recognized as a fuel sensor, so far I have not been able to integrate it as a black water sensor. Here the problem is not yet solved!

Clogged after a year
Initially a great NMEA2K transducer, after a year it starts to hang.
I always have to tap the tank to shake it loose.

That can't be for the price!
