The IC-M73EURO PLUS replaces the previous IC-M71, which has always impressed professional users in terms of high AF performance, robust housing, proven reliability, waterproofness and compactness.
The IC-M73EURO PLUS comes with additional exciting features such as Active Noise Cancelling to improve voice quality and a Last Call Voice Recording to store the most recent incoming call. Engine noise, the roaring of the wind or the waves: ICOM's noise cancelling technology removes noise and provides a clear transmission of your voice. Active Noise Cancelling also improves incoming signals by using DSP.

Programming notes

The unit is supplied programmed with the International (INT) channel group. Switching to inland channel group (ATIS) is not possible.
Should you nevertheless wish to switch to "ATIS", please note the following:

This handheld radio can be programmed with your personal ATIS number.
Programming of the ATIS number must be done by us.This service is of course free of charge. You can program your ATIS number yourself.

Should you wish to have the ATIS function activated, please let us know when placing your order.
If additional channels (e.g. Dutch channels 30, 31 and 37) are to be activated, we charge our programming fee.

ATTENTION: The use of hand-held radios in inland waterway traffic is only permitted to a limited extent. Please follow the inland navigation regulations of your region.

Two-way radio with no frills.
Super quality and good transmission. If you have a competitor's device with DSC and AIS on board, it can't keep up. Battery longer, voice quality significantly better.
I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
DSC and AIS are useless if the battery is empty every two hours. In addition, the operation only becomes more complex.
We therefore consciously chose this model. No frills, just sparks
