VHF handheld radio with built-in GPS receiver. The generously-sized display (43 x 42 mm) and the Icons used in the menu increase the user comfort and provide an intuitive interface. The STANDARD HORIZON HX870E is suitable for use on both and land and water and is equipped with DSC. HX870E is waterproof, pressure resistant (30 min in 1.5m depth corresponding to IPX8), buoyant and comes with a long-lasting Li-ion Battery (1800 mAh).

Note: This device can be programmed by yourself. If you still wish to have it programmed by us, we charge a programming fee. If additional channels (e.g. dutch channels 30, 31 and 37) need to be programmed, we charge a programming fee.

Programming notes:

This device can be programmed with your personal MMSI and/or ATIS numbers. You may carry out programming of the MMSI and ATIS numbers yourself. The instructions are included in the manual.

As an alternative we can program MMSI and ATIS numbers for you at a programming fee.

The device is delivered with programmed channel groups DSC, International (INT) and ATIS (ATIS). Switching to inland channel group (ATIS) is possible.

Please enter your MMSI / ATIS number in the 'comment' field during your order or fill out our datasheet for programming VHF radios and send it to: datenblatt@svb.de.

If additional channels (e.g. dutch channels 30, 31 and 37) are to be programmed, we charge a programming fee. The fee is only charged once per device.

ATTENTION: The use of hand-held radios in inland waterway traffic is only permitted to a limited extent. Please follow the inland navigation regulations in your area.

The standard Horizon device is manufactured by the manufacturer YAESU, a world-class radio manufacturer. The operation is functional and logical, unfortunately different to eg ICOM. We use it as a supplement to a fixed device. The 12V open food clip not part of the delivery - The cable to connect to the cigarette lighter had to be cannibalized.
