Return policy and warranty

Always secured with SVB's 14 days return policy, the 24 month warranty and our repair service. We are happy to help you and will find the best solution to your problem.

Return of an item

As a SVB customer you have the possibility to return purchased goods within 14 days from receipt of the goods. The item must be in their original packaging, unused and unopened. If you would like to make use of our return policy, please contact our customer service or send us the article with appropriate postage to the following address:

In our SVB online return-portal, you can view a list of your orders and initiate returns with our automatically generated “return form.”

Making returns with SVB is incredibly simple:

We grant a warranty of 24 months for all new goods supplied by us. In the case of used and demonstration equipment, it is at our discretion to completely exclude the warranty. In the case of a warranty claim, please contact our customer service department immediately by phone at +49 421 57290 – 0, or via email at

If the issue cannot be resolved over the phone, we will then check whether or not a direct settlement through the manufacturer is possible. If this is not possible, a return of the goods is necessary. After the defect is verified by our technicians, a decision is made whether a quick, professional repair is possible, or whether a replacement for the defective product is necessary. Afterwards, we will send the product directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. Following the repair of the item, we will test it again and send you an immediate confirmation afterwards. If no defect is found, we reserve the right to charge the customer for any costs incurred.

Reperation service outside of the normal warranty

Of course you can contact us for defect products even if the warranty of 24 month does not apply anymore. We can also change the batteries of your EPIRB distress beacon or conduct its maintenance. Please do not hesitate to contact us for a quotation.

Transport damage

If your order is damaged during transport, please report the issue directly to the shipping company within 5 days. Furthermore, you can also inform us regarding any damage as well. For other EU countries: If the respective shipping company's postal office isn't nearby, please get in touch with us within 48 hours. If there is an obvious damage, please refuse to accept the package and inform us about the damage. If there is a hidden damage please document the damage with photos and get in touch with our SVB staff.

Loss of delivery

As SVB customer you are protected against the loss of goods in delivery. If you have not received your package within the normal delivery time please contact our customer service.
