With this GPS antenna from Cobra you can add GPS data to a permanently installed VHF radio device quickly and easily, so that possible DSC emergency transmissions contain your location information and the coast guard or other ships nearby can quickly come to your aid. The GPS antenna can communicate with any device that has an NMEA0183 input and supports the data sets: DTM, GGA, GLL, GRS, GSA, GSV, RMC, as well as VTG. All necessary cables are included in the delivery contents.

Note:
Please note that the wiring layout indicated on the cable (flag) may not be correct. For your own safety, please check this in the manual to make sure it is correct. The correct cable configuration is as follows:
NMEA0183 output + Yellow
NMEA0183 output - Black
12V + Red
12V - Black

Should, in my opinion, be offered in a package with the Cobra marine radio system. Unfortunately there was a delivery delay of more than 3 months, so that installation could only take place after the end of the season.
