ReLite is perfectly suited for almost all applications on board and is made from bio-based materials. Comfortable handling and excellent stretch properties. Despite its minimal elongation, the rope has high strength and flexibility, making it excellent as halyard, sheet or trim line. The core is made from bio-based Dyneema® SK78 and cover from recycled polyester.

Gleistein is committed to bio-based, recycled raw materials, CO²-neutral production and is doing its part to actively care for the environment with this rope series – without any compromise on quality and performance.
rPET is polyester, 100% of which is obtained from recycled PET bottles, which are remelted and granulated to become the raw material for newly spun fibres. This method of production ensures high purity for consistent quality in addition to excellent properties such as high strength, resilience, abrasion resistance, and durability.
Bio-based Dyneema® fibres are completely bio-based, whereby the entire production process is sustainably managed and fibres are produced under organic conditions. The petroleum component naphtha is replaced by organic naphtha derived from sustainably managed, certified forests, in a strictly controlled mass balancing procedure. Despite this switch in production, quality and perfomance remains unchanged.
