The new generation high-resolution 24 GMR xHD radome radar provides a power output of 4 kW and combines ease of use with advanced open array functions. The operation is quite inuitive - modes and settings can be easily adapted. Even without a high amount of high technical 'know-how,' excellent performance is possible.
The GMR 24 xHD provides a larger cache than the 24-inch-dome radars from previous generations. The new, dynamic automatic gain and the dynamic sea swell filter constantly adapt to your environment, to ensure optimal performance even under changing conditions. Various settings are available, according to sensitivity. Alternatively, you can use manual gain. In dual range mode, you can view distance and close-ups on a split screen - in 8-bit color (on some plotters), up to the range of 48 nautical miles. The monitor screen halves are completely independent from each other. Another handy option is called "area without radar transmission". This makes it possible to avoid radar beams in user-customated fields. This also means that a more flexible installation is possible anywhere on the boat.
