Product details
The GMR 18 xHD delivers higher resolution than previous generations of 18-inch dome radars. The new dynamic automatic gain and dynamic swell filter constantly adapt to your environment to ensure optimum performance at all times, even in changing conditions. Various settings are available, according to sensitivity. Alternatively, you can use manual gain.
In dual range mode, you can view distance and close-ups on a split screen - in 8-bit colour (on some plotters), up to the range of 48 nautical miles. The monitor screen halves are completely independent from each other. Another handy option is called "area without radar transmission". This makes it possible to avoid radar beams in user-customated fields, and also allows a more flexible installation anywhere on the boat.
