The new EchoMAP Plus series from Garmin offers high-resolution images of the immediate surroundings underwater in combination with a chartplotter. The EchoMAP Plus 42cv has a waterproof 4.2" display and comes with a GT20-TM transducer.
The EchoMAP Plus chartplotter echo sounder combines a clear, easy-to-read display in all lighting conditions, which can be easily operated via buttons or a touch-screen keyboard shortcut. Garmin devices give you quick access to the most commonly used features. With the integrated GPS receiver as well as the compatibility with ClearVü transducer, everything is visible. By connecting the free ActiveCaptain app to your device, you get access to OneChart, which lets you manage existing maps and buy or download new maps. It also displays notifications directly on your chartplotter, such as incoming calls, WhatsApp messages, and calendar entries. You can download Quickdraw Contours maps, view your maps, and control the chartplotter.

With the Garmin ClearVü echo sounder you get an almost photorealistic representation of what happens under the boat. Structures, underwater objects and fish are clearly visible.
Quickdraw Contours for creating your own HD maps
You have the possibility to create your own, individual HD fishing charts with depth lines of 30 cm.
Update of position and heading 5 times per second
The EchoMAP Plus has a responsive, integrated 5 Hz GPS receiver that precisely and 5 times per second determines the current position and the D-pad, so your movements are displayed evenly. With the ability to store a variety of waypoints, you can quickly and easily find your way back to your secret fishing spots.
The echoMAP Plus - your loyal companion
Conveniently connect the data and power cables directly to the bracket, so you can easily remove the echoMAP Plus and keep it safe when you are not on the water. Simply insert the echoMAP Plus into the holder or remove it - done.
Even more information with the best nautical charts
The existing microSD card slot expands storage for map material such as BlueChat G3 HD or BlueChart G3 Vision HD cards, which support Garmin's patented Auto Guidance technology and other great features.
GPX waypoint transfer
With the industry standard GPX software format, it's possible to transfer saved waypoints, tracks or frequently used routes to your new Garmin chartplotter.
