Product details

The digital charts by Delius Klasing for the popular areas in the North Sea, Baltic Sea, the Balearic Islands and the Adriatic are tailored to the specific needs of recreational boating. Practical standards, clear colored identification and a particularly clear illustration are the essential advantages of the new chart CD's for these areas.

The sea charts have marina plans with all relevant information necessary for controling and entering the marina. The whole coastline of the specific area is displayed in the largest possible scale (at least 1:80,000). For cruises in open sea area, there are passage charts in each chart pack. For nautical demanding areas there are detailed charts in a variety of high-resolution scales.

The different depth ranges are color graded in 2 m and 5 m sections so that shallows and safely navigable depth ranges can be detected at first glance. As usual, the DK chart sets use international standard identificatons for navigational aid and beacons. A list of waypoints is included with each set of charts.

The contents of the CD's is identical to the printed DK chart sets and only useable with the software YACHT NAVIGATOR PREMIUM 2.

Unfortunately, there are few detailed and harbor plans for the Adriatic in contrast to the north of Germany. Otherwise very good for the money.
