On-board leaks must be dealt with immediately and there are various ways that this can be done. In addition to the classic conically shaped wooden plugs in various sizes, there are also rubber emergency plugs that can be used to stop leaks of all sizes thanks to their material, or leak sealant that can easily be spread over the leak by hand. Make sure you have a large supply of emergency plugs or other material for fixing leaks quickly in an emergency on board!
