Lifelines

The lifeline is a safety line with which the sailor can protect himself from falling overboard. Especially in risky conditions, in darkness, heavy weather, working on the rigging or in narrow places on deck, losing a safe footing on board can quickly occur... Learn more about Lifelines...

The lifeline consists of a belt with snap hooks at each end. One of the carabiners is attached to the D-ring ( life belt or harness ) of the life jacket, the other end is attached to the rigging or the boat's mooring rope. Safe is safe!
The lifeline should be short enough to prevent falling overboard from the outset, i.e. the line should not exceed a length of 2 m (measured with carabiners).
