How do you use a rope cutter?

- Using a hot cutter - heating and cooling times -

It takes just a few seconds for the cutter to be hot enough to use. Keep in mind that flammable materials in the workplace can catch fire in as little as 10 seconds, so be careful. The average power consumption of these handy cutters is between 60 and 90 watts. When using a hot cutter to cut rope, the tip of the gun warms up to between 400°C and 600°C, which not only cuts but also seals the rope's edges.

Portable models that can be operated with powerful rope cutter lithium batteries are available if you're looking for a more mobile rope cutter that can be utilised on the go.

Allow at least 60 minutes for the cutter to cool after each use to avoid harm or damage to people, animals, or materials. Leaving it to cool in a safe location away from flammable materials will help prevent damage or injury.
