When polishing your boat, it is essential to protect the surface with a wax or silicone product. If you have used an abrasive polish, you should refrain from using a silicone-based product and stick to those made of wax or Teflon, otherwise the adhesion of other care products and varnish will be greatly reduced.

Applying boat wax

In addition to the gelcoat, boat wax can also be used on plastics, painted surfaces or aluminium. Apply the wax thinly and let it dry according to the manufacturer's instructions. Then polish the hull one last time.
