A fishfinder works very simple. It is composed of three main elements: a transmitter, a receiver and a transducer. A signal is transmitted toward the seabed and if it encounters resistance, for example a fish, the signal is sent back and received. The result is an image of the underwater world. This can be shown on a regular display, but also on multi-function displays that provide you with multiple displays simultaneously.
