„Please be careful when using it in winter time. We are trolling team of salmon fishing in the Baltic Sea, winter fishing is the norm for us. For two seasons of use, the wires going to the servo motor have completely rotted. ZipWake refused the guarantee. The wire can only be changed together with the servo motor, it is glued in, it is impossible to disassemble. The cost of servos is very high.

In 2011, a team of Swedish engineers starts developing a new control system. This system is supposed to be fully automatic, more dynamic and efficient than regular trim tabs, and despite increased performance less fuel is to be consumed. At the METS 2014 in Amsterdam, a dream becomes reality. The first fully automatic ZIPWAKE Dynamic Trim Control System of the S Series is presented to the public. From then on, the new interceptors are available as retrofit kit including distributor box, operating panel and connecting cables. Good to know: all ZIPWAKE products are designed and produced in Sweden.
