Profurl developed the first roller reef system in 1980, which became known under the name ProEngin. The company quickly became the market leader in their field. Since its founding, Profurl has produced more than 100,000 roller reef systems, about 5,000 are addedd every year. Profurl stands for product quality and longevity. Each manual furler comes with a 10 year warranty on the system. At Profurl the entire production process is documented, each product can be identified by a serial number. Profurl Quality is "Made in France" and since 2002 part of the Wichard Group.
