Product details

​Extremely practical bow thruster protection! The grille protects the propeller and the tunnel from damage and safely prevents malfunctions caused by foreign objects.
Standard protective grilles are normally screwed into the hull of the ship. However, this guard is installed without drilling, screwing or riveting. This simplifies assembly and disassembly and facilitates regular maintenance or emergency repairs. Installation can be done on land or under water. Matching hexagon socket: 8 mm (not included).
Suitable for tunnels with a diameter of 185 mm. Delivery includes two pieces.

We received our bow thruster protection which looks to be well engineered. Unfortunately due to the Covid we are waiting for space in the shipyard to lift out our boat and fit it.

Very well made product.
The idea is excellent but the hub needs to be re-engineered to be made much smaller as it restricts the thrust. However if it saves the thruster propeller and the cost of a lift out then its good value.
