Product details

SENTILAK is ideally suited for use in bilges, storage spaces and bulkheads. The paint is resistant to penetrating moisture, oil, fuels and cleaning agents. Yield: 10 m²/litre. Thinner No. 703. Contents: 750 ml

Processing instructions:

For coated surfaces: Sand the surface, clean and allow to dry. Then apply a primer.
For uncoated surfaces:
  • GRP: Wash with a detergent and rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 180­280 grade (grit) paper and remove dust residues afterwards.
  • Wood: Sand with 80-120 grit paper and remove dust. Then apply 2 coats of Defender or Giano (diluted) and sand with 180-220 grit. Then rinse and leave to dry.
  • Steel: Pressure wash with fresh water and degrease with Super Cleaner if necessary. Then gritblast to Sa 2½ ­ near white metal surface. Clean and dry well, then apply 2 coats of Defender or Giano (thinned).
  • Aluminium: Pressure wash with fresh water and degrease with Super Cleaner if necessary. Sand the surface with 36-40 grit and remove dust residues. Then apply 1 coat of Defender.
  • Old gelcoats: Sand with 180-220 grit and remove dust residues.
All surfaces: Sand and clean the surface. Apply a primer and then apply Sentilak.

Drying time at 15 °C: 24 hours
Processing time at 15 °C: min. 48 hours
Processing temperature: +10 °C to max. 35 °C
