Product details
FUTURA is a highly UV-resistant, durable, strong 2-component polyurethane enamel. This high-gloss top coat boasts excellent resistance to ultraviolet rays and marine weathering. Available in various colours. Can be applied to all materials used in boat building after proper preparation of the substrate, for example UNDERCOAT PRO as a primer.
Thinner 698. Yield: 10 m²/l.
Processing instructions:
For coated surfaces:
Remove growth from the substrate and carefully degrease. Sand the surface thoroughly, with 320/400 grain paper, clean well and allow to dry. Remove rust and dust before application. Then apply Futura.
For uncoated surfaces:
Remove growth from the substrate and carefully degrease. Then use Undercoat PRO on the surface.
After Undercoat PRO has dried, sand the surface thoroughly with 320/400 grit, clean well and allow to dry. Remove rust and dust before application. Then apply Futura.
Drying time at 15° C: 8 hours
Processing time at 15° C: min. 24 hours
Processing temperature: +15° C to max. 30° C
