Technical question
Question:
Göran H.
asked
on Feb 15, 2021
How is the Railing Base mounted to the deck? Just one screw?
Answer:
It’s mounted using two attachments. The first is one is a large bolt (not included) straight down through the top, where the stanchion post goes. The other is a smaller bolt through the visible hole shown on the photo image
General question

I ordered 4 of these stanchion bases. However when they arrived I found that two fit perfectly, one was tight and the fourth one was too small to fit the stanchion. Is that something anyone else has found? I have emailed SVB twice but have had no reply. Is that common too?

Thank you for responding. My email address is timrobson@hotmail.co.uk.
Apart from the stanchion based being different diameter openings, I sent another email enquiring about a holding tank for my Bavaria 37 year 2000 and where it could be mounted. Tim
