Description
Bavaria Battery Isolating Diode 120 A
Bavaria Part-No.

Product details

The original isolating diode allows you to simultaneously charge two batteries on your BAVARIA yacht. The batteries are charged separately via an alternator. Even after charging, the charging current remains isolated so that mutual discharge is prevented. The isolating diode is characterized by its compact and robust design, making it resistant to vibration.

Technical specifications:
  • Voltage: 6 - 50 V DC
  • Max. Alternator current: 120 A
  • Dim. l x w x h (including connecting bolts): 165 x 113 x 85 mm
  • Connections: Threaded bolt M8, the middle connector is the POS input to the LiMa, and the exterior ones are the POS inputs to the batteries
  • Hole spacing l x w: 63/127 x 108 mm

Note: Due to its design, a "regular" isolating diode exhibits a voltage drop between 0.3 and 1.2 V. As a result, the charging process is incomplete.
