The new SEATEC AIS series offers you a great amount of reliability as well as excellent ease of use. Within its SEATEC AIS series, SVB relies on an clear key assignments, structured and precise display of information and other important functions. These features turn the AIS-6 devices into your ideal companion – especially on rough seas.
The SEATEC AIS-6 receiver permits the usage of your already existing VHF-Antenna through an integrated Antenna-Splitter. In addition, the NMEA-0183 multiplexer allows you to integrate your SEATEC AIS device into nearly every NMEA board system. Hence, the received AIS data can also be pictured on various AIS compatible devices such as radar, chart plotters and PC‘s.
A marvelous display of detailed data such as an integrated list of ships, graphical display of GPS received compass data, wind direction, highway display and a multidata illustration is guaranteed.
A life-saving function of the new AIS-6 is an eye-catching display of received AIS SART rescue signals. Thus, you can directly distinguish between a "normal" AIS signal and a AIS "search and rescue" message and hurry to help.

Bonjour, j utilise ce produit depuis 1 an.
Il rempli sa fonction, mais:
A/ Il consomme énormément , pour un récepteur ( aussi je mets la luminosité de l écran très basse, pour limiter un peu)

B/ mise en fonction très laborieuse, car ce récepteur m a été livré sans câble d interface, avec le système du bord (alors qu\'il en censé afficher tous les paramètres présents sur le bus NMEA). Reference et plan de câblage du câble nécessaire non fourni !
j\'espères que cette situation a change pour les nouveaux acquéreurs.

Passé ces écueils, il fonctionne bien.

die entfermungsangabe (linke ecke unter) wird in sm angezeigt ,obwohl die Einstellungen auf metrisches System lauten.\\r\\nbei der produkt-beschreibung wird nicht klar,dass man ein externes gps Signal benötogt.\\r\\n

Das ist richtig. Für die Anzeige der AIS Ziele auf dem \"Radar-Bildschirm\" werden externe GPS-Daten benötigt.
Diese werden für die Zentrierung / Darstellung der eigenen Position auf der Bildschirm-Mitte benötigt. Erst dann können die empfangenen AIS-Ziele auf dem Bildschirm platziert werden und Zusatzdaten wie z.B. die Entfernung zum Ziel errechnet und angezeigt werden.
Der Anschluß von GPS-Daten erfolgt über den NMEA-Eingang.
