The AA-35 active antenna is especially tuned to the frequency ranges 100kHz to 30MHz and is suitable for the IC-M802, the IC-GM800 as a DSC antenna and also for any other marine receiver including the MRD80. The carefully tuned antenna electronics serve as a low-noise, high-linearity impedance converter and ensure maximum immunity against interference signals.
The antenna electronics are housed in the antenna base and thus optimally protected against mechanical and weather-related damage. A robust, weather-resistant UHF connector (SO239 / PL259) is provided. A coaxial cable (e.g. RG58/U) can be used for both the reception signal and the supply voltage.
A universal antenna holder, for mounting on rails from 20 to 38 mm ø or on vertical surfaces, is supplied as standard on the housing.
