New intuitive user interface
Icom's new Marine Radio UI allows for easy operation. The rotary knob and navigation keys allow intuitive operation. The high-resolution dot matrix display makes the information on the screen easy to read.

New speakers with clear audio
The newly designed speakers deliver distortion-free clear audio even at full volume. They provide dynamic and clear sound over a wide bass and treble range.

Integrated Class D DSC
DSC monitoring monitors activity on channel 70 (DSC channel) even while receiving on another channel. The DSC features include: distress alert, individual and group calls, calls to all ships, position request / report calls, polling, DSC test calls, etc.

Standard NMEA interface
When an external GPS receiver is connected, the IC-M323 display will show the current position and time. When DSC information is received from other vessels, it transmits the IC-M323 to external navigation devices via its NMEA-0183 port.

Compatible with the class B AIS transponder MA-500TR
The IC-M323 can be paired with the Class-A AIS transponder MA-500TR, so that you can send individual DSC calls without manually entering the MMSI number first. This is very handy if you want to contact other ships that are visible on the AIS monitor and it is also an important emergency security feature.

Waterproof according to IPX7
The IPX7 standard, which meets the requirements of the IC-M323, guarantees watertightness of at least 30 minutes at a depth of 1 m.

Favorite channel function
With this feature, it is possible to choose channels faster and more comfortably. Frequently used channels are marked with a "tag". When pressing the up / down buttons on the handheld microphone, the channel selection is made exclusively from the selected channels, all others are skipped.

AquaQuake™
AquaQuake™ dry function, prevents deterioration of audio quality when water fills the speaker.

HM-235B / with handheld microphone
The included HM-235B/W handheld microphone with channel up/down buttons also has a CH16 channel button.
