Product details

The MARE FLEX 155 is a thin and light solar module that delivers a maximum output of 155 Wp. The module is bendable and perfect for installing on sailing yachts and motor boats as well as on the roofs of caravans and trucks. It is also ideal for use in mobile applications, such as outdoor activities and camping. The front and back foil is made of ETFE and is weatherproof, yet extremely translucent. The module is particularly easy to install: It can either be fixed in place with construction adhesives (e.g. SIKA 291) or by using the integrated stainless steel eyelets. The solar module is supplied with a 5 m long connection cable with 2 x 2.5 mm² cable heads.

Note
The open-circuit voltage (Uoc or Voc) of this powerful module is 31.2 V.
Make sure that the charge controller has sufficient dielectric strength!
VOTRONIC SR series charge controllers are unsuitable for this module, as they are only designed for a max. no-load voltage of 28 volts.
MPP series VOTRONIC controllers accept up to max. 50 V module open-circuit voltage and can be used with the MARE FLEX 155 without issue.

Hassle-free use in the last 5 months - we are satisfied with the product
The product survived the transport from Germany to the Azores well - the packaging was more flexible than cardboard. That shows good quality. The panels were attached to the bimini with screws and washers. The use in the first 5 months went without any problems (2 panels of 155Wp each). We will order another panel as a replacement and mobile extension.

There are no further specifications from the manufacturer other than the technical module data, which were determined in accordance with the Standard Test Conditions (STC). This is understandable, as the module performance depends on various factors, such as the location, the resulting angle of incidence of light, brightness, the duration of sunshine as well as the ambient temperature.
