WAECO´s highly appreciated and valued solutions have been rebranded and will be offered by Dometic from now on. In the 1970s, WAECO developed the first battery powered mobile refrigerator. Ideal for use on motor or sailing yachts to keep food fresh. Today, their range has been extended from refrigerators, to cool boxes, on-board WCs and inverters. Cool comfort on board. As conventional refrigerators were not adapted for mobile use, the Wähning brothers developed a fridge with a closed cooling circuit.
